He probably talks to the eggs all the time in his usual speedwagon way, talking about how much of a hunter the eggs' dad is back in his home country, how he protects you, and that he's gonna teach them how to protect each other when the time comes. Then sits back down when he sees nothing. A slightest bit of noise gets his feathers ruffled, standing up immediately to fend for his babies.
You take over the evening (when you get home) and Speedy takes over when you leave. Since you're a human with real world responsibilities, you two take turns watching over and keeping the eggs warm. Look, he even went to the library and rented out parenting books because he wants to be a good dad!

He's already thinking of names, thinking about teaching them how to fly, how to grab things, making sure you're full of nutrients for a successful egg laying, and such. He almost fainted when you told him there were eggs inside you, but he ends up waking up and crying out of happiness (don't mind him, he's a bit bird-brained). He'd probably have to write a telegram (because raptor harpies don't have phones or any sort of communication other than flying to give each other letters) to the female members of his family or anyone he's close with that's a female + a harpy. He didn't want anything to happen to you, the one person who managed to make him soft. He's seen some stuff back in his home country, being from a ruthless community full of merciless hunters. The moment you feel a little bit of pain, he's ready to fly you to the hospital with an over-packed overnight bag. Raptor Harpy Speedy would be on edge the whole time, like centaur jonathan. What if he watched after the eggs often and protects the nest from the smallest noise. But he has such a big heart and feels so passionately he'd be such a great nestmate. We already talked about caesar so I want to say that speedwagon would always be such a nervous and rough around the edges dad. I love eggs so much literally slamming my fists raw on the wall rn I want to be impregnated with eggs by monster speedwagon and caesar you mentioned.
